As of May 6, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Sealed bids are invited by the Board of Education, Princeton Elementary School District No. 115, Princeton, Bureau County, Illinois, for Asphalt Paving Replacement at Jefferson Elementary School, 725 W. Putnam St., Princeton, IL 61356. A. CONTRACT TYPE: 1. Project will be constructed under one (1) lump-sum contract. The Owner will discuss and provide information relative to Project scope, conditions, and Bidding Requirements. Prime Bidders, prospective Subcontractors, and Material Suppliers are invited to attend. E. STIPULATIONS: 1. The Bid shall be valid for a period of sixty (60) days after Bid Date. 2. Bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid amount proposed must accompany bids. 3. Selected Bidder will be required to provide a satisfactory Certificate of Insurance and Performance and Payment Bonds covering the full performance of the Contract within (10) days of Notice of Award. 4. Selected Bidder must assure that all persons employed by Bidder, and all applicants for such employment, will not be discriminated against because of their race, creed, color, sex, or national origin. Selected Contractor shall Substantially Complete all Work by August 1, 2025. All laborers, mechanics and other workmen employed on this project shall be paid no less than the prevailing hourly wage rate determined by the Illinois Department of Labor. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any irregularities in the Bidding, and to award a contract in their own best interests. Employee shall provide copies of the furnished by Owner). b. Information shall be submitted to a Livescan certified vendor, which can be the Regional Office of Education, City, County, or State Police, or an outside vendor. The Owner will coordinate the checks with the Regional Office of Education. Coordination with other Vendors shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. c. Results are sent back directly to the District. All costs for the Check, fees for fingerprinting and time spent, shall be borne by the Bidder. Contractor will be responsible for all fingerprinting Fee/s. d. Submittal of all information and fingerprinting shall be completed within thirty (30) days following the Notice of Award. Failure to complete this requirement may be a reason to nullify the Contract. The results of the Check shall be received by the Owner prior to the start of any onsite work.
