Site work for a fire / police facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a fire / police facility.
The supply and installation of new fencing and motorized gate for vehicular use at City of Raleigh Fire Station #2 located at 263 Pecan Road Raleigh, NC 27603. Project Scope: o Supply and install approximately 350 feet of 6-foot-high commercial grade one-inch aluminum square tubing with ornamental spikes. o All posts are to be set with concrete footings. o The removal of approximately 8 feet of existing fence. o Supply and install one slide gate for vehicular/truck access with battery backup and manual override feature. o Gate will have a standalone keypad for access on a gooseneck stand set on a concrete pad. o Project includes wiring and installation of all necessary safety sensors. High voltage supply (120v) will be provided and connected by the City of Raleigh. Questions Deadline: Thursday, May 8, 2025 by 4:00pm. The City's goal is to contract and sub-contract fifteen percent (15%) of the total contract amount to Certified MWBEs on construction projects of $300,000 or more, or contracts of $100,000 or more that include any State funding. No Bid may be withdrawn for Forty-Five (45) days after opening time. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
