A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Channel Rehabilitation and Restoration and Related Items to the Addicks Reservoir Watershed for the Harris County Flood Control District - Project ID U100-00-00-X070 (For one (1) year beginning approximately July 1, 2025). Question Deadline 05/02/2025 at 12:00 PM CT Question will be received at online. The Project consists of General Repairs, for projects located throughout the Addicks Reservoir Watershed in Harris County, Texas. Major emphasis of this Repair Contract will be earthwork, including but not limited to erosion repair, slope failure repair, removal and disposal of sediment accumulations, granular fill and riprap installation, pipe removal and replacement, headwall and wingwall removal and replacement, concrete channel lining removal and replacement, outfall structure removal and replacement and related items. B. The intent of this Repair Contract is to establish a means for conducting priority general drainage repairs in the Addicks Reservoir Watershed sector of Harris County, Texas. Issued For Construction (IFC) Project Plan Set(s) will be issued to this Contract as they are completed and the full scope of work for each project site will be included in the IFC Project Plan Set(s). Repairs proposed in the IFC Project Plan Set(s) issued to this Contract will be based on the details represented in the initial bid set Project Plans (bid document details). C. The Harris County Flood Control District (HCFCD) has identified numerous repair site locations, which will be issued to this Contract. Vicinity maps for the repair site locations identified for repair are included in the Project Plans utilized for bidding purposes, however some additional repair site locations associated with the Contract may be added into the Contract at a later date. Some Project Plan Set(s) which are in final form and ready to be Issued For Construction, will be issued to the successful bidder at the time of the preconstruction meeting, with additional IFC Project Plan Set(s) being issued to the Contract at a later date. D. The initial IFC Project Plan Sets and subsequent IFC Project Plan Set(s) issued to the Contract are intended as a guide. The exact project limits will be determined in the field by the Engineer prior to and during construction activities, and HCFCD makes no guarantees on the amount of Work associated with each IFC Project Plan Set(s). Due to the dynamic conditions on site, project scope and quantities may vary from the IFC Project Plan Set(s) and/or cross sections. HCFCD reserves the right to adjust IFC Project Plan Set(s) and quantities as necessary in accordance with the Contract. E. IFC Project Plan Set(s) or portions thereof may be added or deleted from the Contract as priorities change, and the sequencing of project construction will be prioritized and determined by the Engineer The Contractor will be required to mobilize to project repair site(s) on the start date agreed to at the on-site meeting, or no later than ten (10) calendar days after the issuance of a written Notice to Proceed (NTP), which is sent after an IFC Project Plan Set(s) is issued to the Contract, and a site visit to the project repair site(s) has occurred. If the Contractor does not mobilize to the project repair site(s) within ten (10) calendar days of the date of the written NTP, normal contract time will begin to be charged to the project repair site(s) starting on the eleventh (11th) calendar day after the date of the written NTP. G. The Contractor will be required to provide sufficient equipment, manpower, and resources necessary to work without interruption on a minimum of two (2) separate IFC Project Plan Set Site(s). H. The Contractor will not be allowed to begin Work on a newly issued IFC Project Plan Set(s), without written NTP from the Engineer, and the establishment of Substantial Completion including the completion of all associated "Punchlist Items" listed for the previous project site the manpower and resources are coming from.
