The Above Product is to Be Delivered at the Plantation Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant (Rwwtp), Located 6500 Nw 11th Place, Plantation, Florida 33313. Further Details Are Contained in The Itb. Question Deadline 08/15/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent ofthe Bid Documents shall be submitted to City Rep in writing. Questions received less than ten (10) days prior to the date for opening of Bids will be answered at the discretion of the City. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect . Intent: The City ofPlantation is seeking to contract the services of a company with the experience and expertise in the area of design & fabrication of two (2) 200 HP Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's) with passive filter in NEMA 1 Enclosure with fusible disconnect for the Regional Wastewater Plant Deepwell pumps. General: To design, and supply two (2) 200 HP Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) with Passive Filter in The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) 1 Enclosure with Fusible Disconnect for the Regional Wastewater Plant Deepwell pumps (RWWTP). Panel to Consist Of: o NEMA1 freestanding enclosure with lower front door mounted intake fans and top-mount exhaust fans (T-STAT control); o Main fusible disconnect switch w/thru-door handle mechanism; o MTE series passive harmonic filter 5% with fused capacitor contactor circuit; o Main fuses and Drive fuses; o Integral class A2 RFI Filter; o Fused control power transformer; o UL/cUL Certified; o lOOka SCCR; and o Keypad on door. Max Enclosure Dimensions: 94"H X 36"W X 24"D Freestanding Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) Specifications o The VFD shall convert incoming fixed frequency three-phase AC power into a variable frequency and voltage for controlling the speed ofthree-phase AC induction motors. o The VFD shall be a six-pulse input design, and the input voltage rectifier shall employ a full wave diode bridge; the output waveform shall closely approximate a sine wave. The VFD shall be of a PWM output design utilizing current IGBT inverter technology and voltage vector control ofthe output PWM waveform. VFD's shall be user-selectable for either constant or variable torque loads and shall produce an output waveform capable ofhandling maximum motor cable distances ofup to 1,000 ft. (unshielded) without tripping or de-rating. In addition, the drive shall have input surge protection utilizing MOV's, spark gaps, and Zener diodes to withstand surges of 2.3 times line voltage for 1.3 msec., an output voltage-vector switching algorithm, or equivalent, in both variable and constant torque modes. An Automatic Energy Optimization (AEO) selection feature shall be provided in the VFD to minimize energy consumption in variable torque applications. This feature shall dynamically adjust output voltage in response to load, independent ofspeed. Output voltage adjustment based on frequency alone is not acceptable for single motor VT configurations. The ambient operating temperature ofthe VFD shall be -10C to 50C (14 to 122F), with a 24-hour average not to exceed 45C. The drive shall be to use rated inline voltage of380 to 480VAC with line frequency variation of+/-2%. The VFD shall provide internal DC link reactors to minimize power line harmonics and to provide near unity power factor. DC Link reactors shall be installed so that power fluctuations to the DC Capacitors shall be reduced to increase Capacitor life. VFD's without a DC link reactor shall provide a 5% impedance line side reactor and provide spare capacitors.
