The City of Charleston is accepting bids for base stone and gravel with delivery to a designated site in Charleston. The winning bid shall be determined based on the lowest responsive / responsible bidder. Attention is called to the fact that the firm must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin; all other Federal, State, and Local provisions shall apply. The City of Charleston reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any informalities in the procurement process. Bids may be held by the City of Charleston for a period not to exceed 30 days from the date of opening of the Bids for the purpose of review, prior to award.
