Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Marion, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and playground / park / athletic field.
Construction began July 1, 2025, and will be completed October 31, 2025. The Work generally consists of renovation of the City of Cedar Rapids Skyhawks Airfield and Park. The estimate of cost for this project is $260,000. Bid security, as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code, in the amount of FIVE percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid. The successful bidder shall be required to provide performance and payment bonds, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract Price. The City Council of the City of Cedar Rapids reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities and technicalities, and to enter such contracts as it deems in the best interest of the City. The City reserves the right to defer acceptance of any proposal for 45 calendar days after the bids have been received and opened. Question Deadline 05/07/2025 at 5:00 PM CT
