The contractor shall purchase and install the following at Windward Early Childhood Services Program (ECSP): - The workspaces size for providers should be equitable in size. - While some deviation and customization is possible (due to room limitations), the State of Hawaii Department of Accounting & General Services (DAGS) is as follows: (1.) 6' x 8' (or 6 feet by 8 feet); and (2.) 7' x 7' - Due to recent power outages, we need to have natural lighting in the rooms. - Partitions to workstations should allow for providers to be visible in spaces 1, 3, 4 with partition heights approximately 42" (or 42 inches) on at least one side so staff are not "boxed" into the workspace. - Space #2 partition heights should be approximately 42 inches - Following up with Facilities if can drill into concrete walls. Overhead compartments shall be attached to 66" height partitions For reference, we can let prospective vendors take a look at this intended design at our EIS main office (Kamamalu Building, 1010 Richards Street). - Providing more open workspace allows staff to collaborate with each other The period of performance is from May 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026.
