Question Deadline 05/07/2025 at 5:00 PM PT Online Q&A Yes Fiber Route Planning, Network Design, Plans, Specifications and Estimate (PS&E) bid package for a construction ready fiber network. Additionally, bid package preparation, solicitation and support for contractor selection is included in this phase. This RFP is related only to Phase 1, which includes work for engineering plan design, specification and estimating (PS&E) and helping to publish a request for proposals (RFP) for procuring a contractor to complete the work outlined in Phase 2. Work related to Phase 2 will be issued under a separate RFP. Phase 1 work includes a site survey with field verification of any available existing conduits between Civic Drive and Oak Grove Road, as well as site surveying and field verification of traffic signal and communication elements along the entire corridor. This work will inform communication network layout and route planning to all desired network elements (traffic signal cabinets, adjacent city facilities, hub cabinets). Phase 1 deliverables also include finalized layout plans showing precise locations of network infrastructure, detailed specifications and cost estimate of all work and equipment detailed in the plans. All these PS&E elements will be used in a bid package to hire a contractor to install this communication infrastructure.
