Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. For third class cities, the bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the municipality. For other municipal types it is the discretion of the municipality. A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 day after the contract is awarded. Item 1 : Placing Double Application Asphalt Seal Coat as per Attachment #2 - contractor is to use CRS-2PM oil and 1.0% washed No.8s for both layers. Item 2: Placing Single Application Asphalt Seal Coat as per Attachment #3 - contractor is to use CRS-2PM oil and 1.0% washed No.8s. Item3: Asphalt Fog Seal as per Attachment #4-AII roads must be cleaned with H-Vac truck prior to placing the Fog Seal. Note: All Seal Coating must have a chipper capable of up to doing a 20ft pass and two pneumatic rubber tire rollers. All excess material is to be removed with H-Vac 7-10 days after Fog Seal. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
