Decatur Utilities Gas, Water, and Wastewater Department Building at105 10th Ave NE Decatur, Alabama 35601 The work will be let underone Contract if award shouldbe made; and the Owner reserves the right to select theBid considered by the Ownerto be in the best interest ofthe Owner. The principalitems of work to be performed under this Contractare outlined herein below: This project consists of installing a 10" header and 6"steel regulator run at the VineStreet Regulator Station. No bid may be withdrawnafter the time for opening ofbids has passed. The Ownerreserves the right to hold thebids for a period of up toninety (90) days after thedate of receipt of bids. A Bid Bond or cashier'scheck in an amount of notless than five percent (5%) ofthe total amount bid (but notmore than $10,000) must accompany each proposal. Thepayee of such bond orcashier's check shall be Municipal Utilities Board of Decatur, Morgan County,Alabama. The Bid Bond orcashier's check shall bear thesame date as that set for receipt of bids.
