Description: The existing bridge over Rowland Road (Bridge No. 27580) is a ballasted 3-span steel girder railroad bridge constructed in 1973. The bridge is showing signs of deterioration and needs miscellaneous repairs. Specific scope items include partial pier replacement and rehabilitation, bridge drainage replacement, and facia panel bearing replacement. The project will also include some minor repairs to the railings on top of the bridge. This project will require close coordination as the work is on and adjacent to active freight rail tracks.
