The Project Includes the Following Work: Furnishing of All Materials, Labor, Equipment, Tools, Transportation, and Services for the Replacement of 91 (Qty.) Water Meter Services With and New Laterals From the Water Main to the Meter. New Meter Services Include 88 (Qty.) at 3/4" (80 Singles and 8 Doubles) and Two Singles at 1". Services Also Include Connecting the New Lateral to the Existing Corp. Stop at the Main, New Hdpe Lateral, New Single or Double Brass Setter With Angle Stop and Angle Check Valve (Locking), New Meter Box and New Customer Shutoff Curb Stop Behind the Meters. Work Also Includes the Replacement of One 2" Lateral Connected to an Existing 2" Service With Two New 2" Curb Stops, the Replacement of Two 6" Gate Valves and Two 8" Gate Valves on Existing Water Mains, and the Replacement/addition of Six Fire Hydrant Assemblies (With 6 Valves) at Various Locations Throughout the Town of Golconda. Work Also Includes the Replacement of Laterals at Five (Qty.) 3/4" Water Meter Services That Have Had the Service and Box Replaced With a Previous Project. This Project Also Involves Disconnecting the System From a Transmission Main That is Linked to a Previously Abandoned Tank. Additionally, the Project Includes the Purchase of Fire Hydrant Pressure Reading Equipment and a Desktop Computer for the Ggids Scada System. additional site visit note: Bidder is required to visit the Site and conduct a thorough visual examination of the Site and adjacent areas. During the visit the Bidder must not disturb any ongoing operations at the Site. A Site visit is scheduled following the pre-bid conference. Maps to the Site will be available at the pre-Bid conference.
