All bids will be evaluated based on price and criteria as set forth herein and, in the bid, specifications provided. The Contract shall be awarded to the lowest reliable bidder whose proposal shall have met all the prescribed requirements. This project consists of performing asphalt resurfacing on approximately 0.75 miles of centerline road miles within City of Fort Oglethorpe. The work includes resurfacing, asphalt milling, asphalt patching, permanent grassing, shoulder milling/dressing, and the installation of striping. Two roads are included in the project. The successful bidder will have up to one hundred and eighty-two (182) consecutive calendar days to complete the work upon receipt of a Notice to Proceed to Construction from the City of Fort Oglethorpe. In addition, the successful bidder will be required to attend a preconstruction conference with City of Fort Oglethorpe, selected DBE firms, and the GDOT Area Engineer at a time and place to be determined upon bid award.
