The State of New York, Office of General Services (OGS), Division of Real Estate (DRE) oversees and operates approximately 20 million square feet of office space throughout New York State. To assist in their daily operations, OGS is seeking a Contractor to provide appraisal, testing, maintenance, and repairs to electrical distribution equipment services at the W. Averell Harriman State Office Building Campus High Voltage Switchyard. There are two main National Grid transmission lines that enter the facility at 115,000 volts, which then get stepped down to 13,800 volts, which is then transmitted to 19 Campus Buildings. At the buildings, the power is again decreased to either 480Y/277V or 208Y/120V with the exception of Building 17 (Outside) to 13.8kV to 4160/2400V.
