Renovation of a residential development in Chicago, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The Work consists of furnishing all means, methods, labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and services for performing the Sound Insulation Work as shown on the Construction Modifications and as described in the Technical Specifications, including all appurtenant Work and accessories, to the complete satisfaction of, approval and acceptance by the City. This includes, but not limited to: Alterations and modifications of approximately 225 dwelling units in the area surrounding Chicago O'Hare International Airport ("O'Hare"), and Chicago Midway International Airport ("Midway"), consisting of single-family and multi-family Residences ("Homes") in various communities. Homes are single-family or multi-family structures that include apartments and condominiums, and vary in construction type, external materials, and style. The residential construction documents ("Construction Modifications") for the Work on the Homes will be provided to Contractor(s) with the Notice to Proceed ("NTP") for the Contract. This description of Work is intended to be general in nature and is neither a complete description nor a limitation on the Work to be performed. Contractor must perform all Work described in the Contract Documents or reasonably inferable as necessary to produce the results specified therein, except to the extent specifically indicated in the Contract Documents to be the responsibility of others.
