Title: LC-777-Steam Plant-Repair Boilers 3 and 4 Burners RFP: N4008525R2659 WO# 1795842 Location of the work: Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek - Fort Story, Little Creek Site, Virginia Beach, VA Reference the Specifications (ATTACHMENT A), Executable Scope of Work (ATTACHMENT B), and Mechanical As-Built (ATTACHMENT C). The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, material, and equipment required to perform the following work: perform an analysis of the wind box, make corrective measures to wind box flow, burner adjustments and possibly refractory repairs in order to 'center the flame' better and limit boiler skin hot spots. Goal of this task order is to increase boiler steam production capacity while limiting boiler external shell hot spots. Time for completion: In accordance with FAR 52.211-10 Commencement, Prosecution, and Completion of Work (APR 1984), all work and options shall be completed within 180 calendar days after award. The days are calculated from date of task order award, and includes the initial 15 days allowed for distribution of the task order award, submission and approval of insurance and bonding, and other requirements set forth in the task order/MACC. In accordance with FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction Projects, the estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000.
