Description: Project involves approximately 5,385 L.F. of 42-inch diameter water main, 280 L.F. of 42-inch water main in 60-inch casing, jack and bore river crossing, 42-inch diameter butterfly valves, hydrants and leads, water service replacements, erosion control, concrete curb and gutter, asphalt and concrete pavement repair, pavement marking, traffic control, tree removal, and restoration. All Work is included in a single prime contract. Construction time is of the essence. Completion delays are subject to liquidated damages. Bids must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Racine Water Utility in an amount of 5% of BIDDER's maximum Bid price and in the form of a certified check, Surety2000 Bid Bond (OWNER must be registered with Surety2000 in order to accept) or an electronic Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions.
