Renovation of a transportation facility in Potsdam, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
The Base Bid project generally consists of the replacement of the existing rotating beacon and pole at Potsdam Municipal Airport with a new medium intensity, L-801A, Class 1 rotating beacon, including a new foundation, tip-down pole, and all associated electrical work. Prevailing wage rates apply. Contractors must be bonded and insured to the level indicated in the Contract Documents. A Federal DBE participation goal is included in the Contract. The project is sales tax exempt. Technical questions shall be directed to Sean O'Connor of Passero Associates (soconnor@passero.com); and visits to the site shall be coordinated through Greg Thompson, DPW Supervisor, (Phone: 315-265-4620). Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price (combination of base bid or alternate bid plus add-on items) for the contract in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Preparation of Proposal. The right is reserved to waive any informalities in the bid and to reject any and all bids. Question Deadline 04/30/2025
