Reference Number 0000385010 Jefferson County Facilities Management requires the replacement of roof decks 1 through 7 on the Evergreen Service Center. This current Built Up Roof (BUR) assembly has hail damaged and needs to be replaced. This project is FEMA Funded. Buyer Preferences, Guidelines & Requirements Participation Requirements - Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) - Minority Business Participation - Native American Participation - Small Business Participation - Service-Disabled Veteran Owned - Women-Owned Business Participation General Requirements - Federally Funded - Installation Required - Insurance Required - Warranty Information Required Award Requirements - All or None Award Bonding Requirements - Performance Bond 100 % - Labor and Materials Bond 100 % The Project consists of: 1) Project Location: Jefferson County - Evergreen Service Center Building: 4990 Highway 73, Evergreen, CO 80439. B. The Work consists of: 1) Replace Roofing Systems - Decks 1 Thru 7: a) Demolition: At the area indicated on the Roof Plan, remove the existing gravel surfaced asphalt Built-Up Roof (BUR) system and underlying insulation down to the surface of the concrete decking. Remove asphaltic and sheet metal flashings and counterflashings not designated to remain. b) Install a new base layer of 3" thick isocyanurate foam insulation over the concrete decking. Secure the layer of foam with low rise foam adhesive. c) Set a tapered isocyanurate foam insulation system over the base layer of foam insulation. Insulation shall have a factory slope of 0.25" per foot (0.25/12). Secure tapered insulation panels with the membrane manufacturer's approved low rise foam adhesive. d) Install tapered isocyanurate foam insulation crickets over the tapered foam layer. Crickets shall have a factory slope of 0.5" per foot (0.5/12). Secure cricket insulation panels with the membrane manufacturer's approved low rise foam adhesive. e) Install a new high density isocyanurate foam cover board over the new foam insulation layers. Secure board with the membrane manufacturer's approved low rise foam adhesive. Use cover board with Velcro hook facer sheet. f) Install a new fully adhered 115 mil Velcro fleeceback EPDM membrane over the top of the cover board insulation. g) Install new cured and uncured EPDM flashings. h) Provide new sheet metal flashing and counterflashings. i) Provide a written 20 year warranty covering the new roofing material and labor in a leak free state at a no-dollar limit. Warranty The County of Jefferson, Colorado, reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions thereof, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received which are inconsequential or immaterial in nature, and to approve awards in total or in part, whichever, in its judgment best serves the interests of Jefferson County, Colorado. The County reserves the right to base the suitability of the award on factors other than lowest price.
