The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) by the City of Goldsboro (City, Owner) is to solicit Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) for the opportunity to study potential flood mitigation improvements to the Goldsboro Water Reclamation Facility (GWRF, Facility). Statements of Qualifications will be evaluated to identify Respondents with the requisite experience, qualifications, and resources to complete the study successfully in accordance with requirements that will be specified by the Owner. In accordance with North Carolina General Statute 143-64.31, The City of Goldsboro is seeking qualified professional engineering consulting firms to submit Statements of Qualification for the opportunity to study potential flood mitigation improvements to the Goldsboro Water Reclamation Facility Firms must be licensed under prevailing state laws governing their occupation. During the evaluation process, the City reserves the right to request additional information or clarification from applicants. At the discretion of the City, proposers may be requested to make an oral presentation as part of the evaluation process. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals, hold proposals for a period of ninety (90) days, add or delete work, waive informalities and to select the firm and service options that are in the best interest of the City The City of Goldsboro has an affirmative policy of fostering, promoting, and conducting business with women and minority owned enterprises and encourage their participation.
