Site work for a mixed-use development in New Denver, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; water / sewer project; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Village of New Denver invites tenders for the construction of sidewalk along the 700 Block of Kootenay Street. The project will also include new curb/gutter/sidewalk at the Kootenay Street intersection with 6th Avenue (Highway 31A). A summary of specific work items includes the following (approx. quantities): Installation of approximately 330 sqm of concrete sidewalk and 55m of concrete curb with gutter. Construction of a 25m long (approximate) by 1m tall (maximum) cast-in-place reinforced concrete landscaping wall. Installation of 3 catchbasins and 1 storm drywell. Surface restorations including boulevard grading and road reconstruction (including asphalt paving). Installation of traffic signs and paint markings.
