The City of Nampa is seeking qualified and experiencedrespondents from interestedfirms to submit a proposal for providing Project DevelopmentServices for the Can-Ada Roadand Ustick Road Intersection in Nampa, Canyon County. SCOPE OF WORK CAN ADA & USTICK INTERSECTION PWST270002 Background and Project Description The intersection of CAN ADA Road and USTICK Road lies along a major corridor in the City of Nampa and is currently an all-way stop-controlled intersection. CAN ADA Road is a 2-lane road classified as a Collector Road, and USTICK Road is a 2-lane road classified as a Principal Arterial. The purpose of this project is to develop a design for intersection improvements at the CAN ADA Road and USTICK Road intersection. The project will include traffic analysis to determine current and future traffic signal configuration. Design plans for traffic signal, roadway widening, and bridge replacement at Phyllis Canal BK#27510 be developed. The necessary right-of-way will need to be identified. Planning-level costs will be estimated to apply for a FY2027 Strategic Initiative Grant. The following tasks have been developed to complete the intersection design plan and its appurtenances; Awarded Agency will perform all tasks unless otherwise noted. Previous corridor study report was completed on November 29 th of 2022. This study estimated the Life-Cycle Cost of Intersection Designs of the Ustick Corridor. The Consultant will coordinate with City of Nampa and provide the following services to design the intersection including: • Project Administration • Survey • Public Involvement • Environmental • Bridge/Roadway Design • Preliminary Design • Geotechnical Investigation/Design • Utility Coordination & Plans • Final Design • Traffic Control Design • Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan Design • Plans, Specifications, and Estimate (PS&E)
