The project consists primarily of airfield improvements to the NRT Apron and is divided into five (5) distinct elements: Base Bid reconstruction of the existing apron asphalt pavement Additive 1 widening of the existing Taxiway A asphalt apron connector Additive 2 realignment and expansion of the existing Taxiway C asphalt apron connector Additive 3 expansion of the apron asphalt pavement (including work from Additives 1 and 2), removal of existing Taxiway T, and construction of two additional apron connectors Additive 4 expansion of the southeast side of the apron Additional project components include installation of new high-mast apron lighting, airfield drainage modifications, new pavement markings, and replacement of airfield lighting and signage. All Bidders are advised that the Project may be funded in part by State and Federal Grant funds, therefore, all Federal and State mandatory provisions shall apply to this Contract.
