Pre-Qualification: Yes Description: The Village of Pleasant Prairie hereby gives notice that sealed Bids will be received for the construction of the Balcan Plastics Railroad Track Construction project. The Project consists of one prime Contract and generally consists of the construction of new industrial railroad spur tracks and associated site civil work. The project will be partially funded through a TEA Grant from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. Contract award for this project is subject to a State TEA Grant award. All Contractor pre-qualifications must be complete and submitted 5 days prior to bid opening date/time. BID SECURITY: Bid Security in the amount of not less than 5% nor more than 10% of the Bid shall accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Acceptable Bid Security shall be Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashier s Check, or Money Order. CONTRACT SECURITY: The Bidder to whom the Contract is awarded shall furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount equal to the Contract Price. BID REJECTION / ACCEPTANCE: Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive informalities in bidding or accept the Bid or Bids, which best serve the interest of the Owner. BID WITHDRAWL: No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 40 days after the opening of the Bids without the consent of the Owner.
