Site work for a water / sewer project in Los Angeles, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The CBD Unit 5 project aims to rehabilitate approx. 1,882 linear feet of 44" & 1,081 lf of 45" circular double-brick lined sewer through the ultraviolet Cured-In-Place Pipe (UV-CIPP) lining method. The CBD Unit 6 project aims to rehabilitate approx.1,008 lf of 45", 2,068 lf of 49" circular double-brick lined sewer, & 521 lf of 49" circular doublebrick lined sewer coated with approx. 1" of EcoCast Geopolymer using UV CIPP liner. Project scopes include, but are not limited to: removing fallen bricks & other debris, rehabilitating & increasing the opening size of maintenance holes, constructing temporary access pits, CIPP liner installation, & reinstating house connections. Additionally, sewer bypassing, traffic control & odor control will be implemented during construction. A "Bid Bond" is required. The successful bidder shall provide 2 good & sufficient surety bonds. The "Payment Bond" and "Performance Bond" shall each be for not less than 100% of the contract Price. The Board of Public Works anticipated level of MBE participation is 4%, WBE participation is 2%, SBE participation is 25%, EBE participation is 8%, and DVBE participation is 3% (See Part III of the Proposal).
