The Senior Activity Center is exceeding pre-pandemic daily use numbers. To accommodate this growth and prepare for future participants we are planning to expand the dining room to the east over the existing patio area. We estimate this will expand the center by approximately 600sf. Architectural and engineering services will be needed to begin this process. As of April 25, 2025, this project is included in the city's 2024-2029 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). Further information regarding a design firm and timeline for construction has not yet been established. Funding is allotted for FY 2028. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
