The Town is seeking sealed bids for asphalt and road resurfacing and concrete work on various roads in Town limits. Please note that this Request for Proposal (RFP) requires documentation regarding attempts to include subcontractors eligible for the LVP. The goal is, at minimum, 15% of the value of the contract will be awarded to eligible subcontractors that qualify for at least a 4% LVP (eligible office in the Town of Lexington, Lexington County, Richland County, Kershaw County, Newberry County or Fairfield County). Please note that this is a goal and the requirement is that attempts to include eligible subcontractors be documented. The Town recognizes that LVP eligible vendors may not be qualified to perform the work as required under the specifications of this RFP, may not provide the lowest price, or that total subcontractor amounts may not reach the 15% goal.
