Site work and paving for a road / highway in Timber Township, Illinois. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Resurfacing of Glasford Road from Main Street in the Village of Glasford to US Route 24. The road surface condition is rough and is the source of multiple complaints each year to the Highway Department. The Highway Department has applied for funding multiple times for the complete reconstruction of the roadway, but has been unsuccessful each time. Resurfacing of the roadway will improve conditions for motorists and allow time to obtain funding for a full reconstruction of the roadway. The project is included in the county's 2025 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of April 28, 2025, project is out for bid. Due May 13, 2025. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
