All other questions, to include specifications or technical information, please submit online and the answer will be emailed to you. The City of Dothan, Alabama is requesting proposals for the tipping and disposal of municipal solid waste (MSW) from the City's waste stream. Transportation is not included as part of this proposal. The services must be provided at a facility operated by the contractor that is permitted to receive MSW. The initial contract period shall be for three (3) months, with the option to renew for up to three (3) additional three-month extensions, not to exceed a total contract term of twelve (12) months. The City reserves the right to select the most qualified proposal based on price, location, technology, operational flexibility, and other relevant factors. The City may negotiate final contract terms with the selected proposer. The City of Dothan reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, or to cancel the request for proposals entirely at its sole discretion.
