Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees to provide comprehensive annual maintenance services for the HVAC systems at San Diego Unit (SDU) CAL FIRE facilities. These facilities include eighteen (18) fire stations, two (2) Fire Camps, and one (1) Fire Center. The Contractor shall perform all services in compliance with industry standards, manufacturer recommendations, applicable codes and regulations. The Contractor shall ensure all HVAC systems operate efficiently and reliably, providing optimal indoor comfort and air quality. The contractor shall provide quarterly and annual maintenance services for approximately 165 HVAC Units, including but not limited to air handling units, condensers, chillers, split systems, heat pumps, and other related components. The scope includes inspection, testing, servicing, cleaning, and submitting estimates for repairs or replacement of components as necessary and with documentation. Only Small Businesses certified by the State of CA shall submit a bid. Any questions that are not addressed at the walk-through must be submitted to Jean Vasquez Jr. by Friday, May 02, 2025. No further questions will be entertained after that date. This contract requires Prevailing Wages if the total bid amount exceeds $1,000.00. If the total bid amount is under $1,000.00, then Prevailing Wage language will be removed prior to award. Refer to Sample Standard Agreement, for requirement details. This Agreement will commence on May 15, 2025 (EST), or upon approval by the California Department of General Services (DGS), whichever is later, and no work shall begin before that time. This Agreement is of no effect unless approved by DGS. Contractor shall not receive payment for work performed prior to approval of the Agreement and before receipt of notice to proceed by CAL FIRE Project Representative. This Agreement shall expire on May 14, 2028 (EST). The services shall be provided during normal working hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except State holidays. The parties may amend this Agreement as permitted by law.
