Site work for a water / sewer project in East Spencer, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project Includes the Following Work: 1 Installation of Approximately 20,045 Lf Of2-inch to 12-inch Waterlines, 174 Lf of Bore and Jack, and 335 Lf of Hdd, Including fire Hydrants and Valves and Associated appurtenances. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Contact information and submittal procedures for such questions are as follows: A. Questions will not be taken by phone. Questions may be e-mailed to Engineer's E-mail address as follows: jgrey@thewootencompany.com 7.03 Submittal with questions shall include the project name, reference to sheet number or specification section as appropriate, the person's name submitting the question, firm, telephone number, and email address. 7.04 Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all registered plan holders. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The Owner is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Encourages Bidding by Small, minority and Female Contractors and Doesnot Discriminate on the Basis of Handicapped Status. Bids From Qualified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (Dbe) Are encouraged. Bid Security in the Amount of Five (5) Percent of the Bid Must Accompany Each Bid and Shall Be Subject to the Conditions Provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders Will Be Required to Show Evidence that They Are Licensed to Perform the Work in the Bidding Documents as Required By north Carolina General Statute, Chapter87 and the Instructions to Bidders.
