Renovation of a municipal facility in San Diego, California. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

**As of July 22,2025, the project is on hold. No definite date for the rebid.** Contractor agrees to provide to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) all labor, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, parts, permits, travel, and incidentals necessary to remove and legally dispose of two (2) air compressors, one (1) refrigerated air dryer, and associated components, and furnish and install two (2) Ingersoll Rand Air Compressors, or equivalent, one (1) Ingersoll Rand Refrigerated Air Dryer, or equivalent, and one (1) Ingersoll Rand Control Panel, or equivalent. Written Question Submittal 05/02/2025 5:00 p.m. Questions regarding this IFB must be submitted by May 02, 2025. Bidders must submit their questions via e-mail to Angel.Cervantes.Jr@dot.ca.gov. Bonds Payment Bond (DOT ADM-2009) Requirement: If the successful bidder's bid is $25,000 or more, the successful bidder shall furnish a Payment Bond for not less than 100 percent (100%) of the total amount payable by the terms of this Agreement. The Payment Bond is due prior to the start date of work. No work may commence without receipt of a valid Payment Bond. The Payment Bond must be in effect at all times for the duration of the Agreement. If the Payment Bond expires during the term of the Agreement, a new Payment Bond must be provided to Caltrans Contact Manager not less than 10 business days prior to its expiration. Failure to maintain a Payment Bond for the full term of this Agreement will be grounds for termination for default in addition to other legal remedies Caltrans may have. Inadequate or lack of a Payment Bond does not negate Contractor's obligations under this Agreement. The total bid proposal for this Agreement must not exceed $461,000.00. A bid amount more than $461,000.00 will be deemed non-responsive and will be rejected. This Agreement will commence on June 01, 2025 (estimate), or upon approval by Caltrans, whichever is later, and no work shall begin before that time. This Agreement is of no effect unless approved by Caltrans. Contractor shall not receive payment for work performed prior to approval of the Agreement and before receipt of notice to proceed by Caltrans Contract Manager. This Agreement will expire on May 31, 2026 (estimate). The services shall be provided during the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, except State holidays. The parties may amend this Agreement as permitted by law.
