Site work, paving, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Dayton, Ohio. Working plans call for the addition of a hospitality development; for the renovation of a hospitality development; for site work for a hospitality development; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

Single bid came in at $4.5 million well beyond the 20% threshold of the cost opinion which was 3.2 Countryside Park Phase 2A: Gateway Plaza and A-Frame Shelter Improvement Countryside Park Phase 2A: Gateway Plaza and A-Frame Shelter Improvement Project for Washington Township RecPlex 895 Miamisburg-Centerville Road Washington Township, OH 45459 The Township may choose to not award the bid--and bidders shall hold bids open--until sixty (60) days after the bid opening. The work for which bids are invited consists of site demolition and preparation and subsequent installation of the proposed Gateway Plaza located between RecPlex East and West buildings and adjacent to Countryside Park. Plaza project includes substantial concrete and roadway/curb construction, installation of owner specified interactive spray fountains, shade structure, outdoor pavilion and ticket booth, and related amenities. Additionally, the scope of work will include drainage and accessibility improvements and repairs to the park's A-Frame shelter The estimate for the Project is $2,959,176.91. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a surety company or corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity The Owner intends that this project be completed by May 1, 2026. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project Payment of Prevailing Wages is required for this Project. The Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids; to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding process; and to enter into a contract with the bidder who, in its opinion, offers the lowest responsive and responsible bid. Each bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.
