Pump and Well Maintenance at Kern River Planting Base (KRBP), Kern County, California Description: The Contractor will provide to the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW): labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for quarterly inspection, maintenance, and servicing of the Kern River Planting Base (KRPB) domestic water system, including a well pump, pressurization pump and tank, electrical panels and plumbing in accordance with the specifications, terms, and conditions contained herein. All inspection and maintenance work will ensure that the equipment continues to function properly and safely. Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise (DVBE) Information This solicitation has been exempted from DVBE Participation Program requirements. However, bidding firms that are certified as a DVBE or firms voluntarily utilizing DVBE subcontractors will receive an incentive applied to the level of DVBE participation identified in the bid response not to exceed five percent (5%). Small Business Program Information A Small Business Preference of five percent (5%) will be granted in accordance §1896 et seq., Title 2, California Code of Regulations (CCR).
