Clarifications requested by Bidders must be submitted in writing to the Owner no less than two business days before the date set for receipt of the bids. The Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: 1 The installation and maintenance of hoarding, dust protection and construction signage around the area of work. 2 Temporary disconnection and removal of existing bandstand electrical services. 3 Wholesale removal and disposal of the existing wood decking, and steel deck framing members. 4 Temporary removal, repair and reinstallation of bandstand railings and benches. 5 Cleaning, surface preparation, and recoating of structural steel members. 6 Supply and installation of new pressure-treated and painted wood decking, and H.D.G steel deck framing members. 7 Supply and installation of new pressure-treated and painted wood ramp structure. 8 Supply and installation of new roof ornament. 9 Reinstatement of Bandstand electrical services back to pre-existing conditions. 10 Repair all areas damaged by construction activity; specifically, the contractor shall repair all damage resulting from the construction to the satisfaction of the consultant including all landscaping and site features and finishes. 11 Final cleaning of structure, finishes, etc. and the disposal of all waste products and/or debris generated by the construction activity as well as any material present in the work area prior to the commencement of the work. The areas requiring cleaning shall consist of all areas affected by the work.
