The City of Winchester is accepting sealed bids for mowing of public properties in the City of Winchester.. Properties are to be mowed weekly but mowing needs may need to be adjusted as necessary. Mowing shall include trim work including weed eating. This includes but is not limited to trimming around trees shrubs, flower beds, buildings sidewalks, playground equipment, parking lots, ditches fences. Grass trimming and debris is to be removed from all concrete sidewalks and steps This bid also includes pick-up work including fallen branches/limbs, flowers and other trash on the lawns. Bids shall be lump sum for the entire 2025 mowing season May 1 through October 31. Bidder will supply mowing equipment, fuel and transportation as well as maintenance on their equipment. The City of Winchester reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or all proposals and to waive any formalities or irregularities and to require statements of evidence of qualifications and/or references prior to award of the contract, such as shall best serve the requirements and interests of the City of Winchester. The public properties to be mowed are Monument Park Douglas Park and City Library grounds within the City of Winchester Direct any questions to Rex McIntire, Mayor, or John Simmons, Superintendent of Public works, both at the City of Winchester at 271/742-3191
