The City of St. Ignace is seeking Bids for Painting at Dock 3 Bathrooms and Fish Cleaning Station. 2. New doors and windows including frames do not require painting. 3. Caulking may be required including around new door and window frames. 4. Painting in the fish cleaning station is limited to gray wood window frames and floor. 5. All material is guaranteed to be as specified. All work to be completed in a workmanlike manner according to current painting practices. 6. Contractor is required to provide proof of workman's comp and liability insurance. 7. City of St Ignace has the right to eliminate any portion of the above project due to budget concerns. (3) Interior concrete block walls. (4) Interior exposed drywall ceilings (5) Interior concrete floors 1.1.3 Painting and Finishing not included in this Section: 1.1.3.1 Unless otherwise indicated, painting is not required on surfaces, in concealed areas and inaccessible areas, such as furred spaces, foundation spaces, utility tunnels, pipe spaces, and duct shafts 1.1.3.2 Do not paint any moving parts of operating units; mechanical or electrical parts such as valve operators, linkages, sensing devices, and motor shafts, unless otherwise indicated. 1.1.3.3 Do not paint over any required labels or equipment identification, performance rating, name, or nomenclature plates. 1.1.4 Definitions: The term "paint", as used herein, means all coating systems materials including primers, emulsions, epoxy, enamels, sealers, fillers, and other applied materials whether used as prime, intermediate, or finish coats.
