Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Long Beach, California. Completed plans call for site work for a communication facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

**As of April 24th, 2026 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** OF WORK: The work to be done consists primarily of, but is not limited to, furnishing and installing Dura-Line MicroDucts and MiniXtend Fiber in existing and new conduit. New conduit will be installed via a horizontal directional boring method, with one section requiring open trench. There will also be placement of new fiber vaults in the sidewalk and parkway. Restoration of potholing and excavation in street, sidewalk and parkway will be on an as needed basis. Bids are required for the entire Work. Selection of "NO BID" for any bid items will render the bid non-responsive. BID SECURITY: Bidders must scan and upload with their bid documents a certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Long Beach, drawn on a solvent bank in the United States of America, or a satisfactory bond in an amount not less than 10 percent of the Bid. The original of the above instrument shall be submitted to the City Clerk in a sealed envelope and must be received and time/date stamped by the City Clerk's Office no later than the time and date stated for receipt of bids. The outside of the envelope shall clearly state "Bid Security for R-7231 CITY FIBER EXPANSION PROJECT, DO NOT OPEN WITH REGULAR MAIL." The City Clerk's Office is located at 411 W.
