CONTRACT NO. 2025-1 The scope of work consists of, but is not necessarily limited to, the furnishing of all labor, superintendence, materials, tools and equipment and performing all work necessary to complete all Mechanical Construction in accordance with the Contract Documents to install new dual auger screen, replacement submersible pumps, repair/replacement of aeration piping, diffusers and valves, treatment process piping, and chlorination/de-chlorination systems at the existing Treatment Plant and Sewage Lift Station. The Bid Proposal must be a paper copy, with an original signature, submitted in an envelope along with the original bid security and all other required documentation, all as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Each proposal shall be accompanied with a certified check or Bidder's Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal, in favor of the County of Armstrong OBO Pine Township. No faxed Bids will be accepted. The County of Armstrong OBO Pine Township reserves the right to waive any informality and to accept or reject any and all bids. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of opening bids. Davis Bacon Wage Rates will apply to these contracts. BABA (Build America, Buy America) will apply to these contracts. The contract documents contain requirements addressing labor wage rates, labor standards, nondiscrimination in hiring practices, goals for minority and female participation, MBE AND WBE participation, participation by Section 3 residents and businesses, and related matters. The bidder must submit documentary evidence of Minority/Women Business Enterprises and Section 3 business concerns who have been contacted and to whom commitments have been made. Documentation of such solicitations and commitments shall be submitted with the Bid.
