Reference Number 0000391144 Bid Intent Not Available Oyster castle blocks will be used to create artificial reefs. Each Oyster Castle reef will be comprised by 8 manufactured concrete blocks (12" x 12" x 8" [L x W x H]). Each of these blocks are to be stackable and interlocking, and designed to create complex, stable habitat that is suitable for oyster settlement, growth, and survival. The footprint of the Oyster Castle reefs will be 3,240 ft2 (301 m2). The substrates should not entrap protected species, as no large (> 2") gaps should exist in these substrates. Furthermore, these substrates should not be comprised of petroleum products (e.g., creosote or asphalt materials). If the Bid is sent by mail or other delivery system, the sealed envelope containing the Bid shall be enclosed in a separate envelope plainly marked on the outside with the notations "BID ENCLOSED", title of the work, Bid number (FY25-06), and name of the Bidder. In order for this to be considered a responsive bid, the bid form must be completed, and signed then submitted in a sealed envelope. A mailed Bid shall be addressed to: City Clerk City of Jacksonville 815 New Bridge Street PO Box 128 Jacksonville, NC 28541 The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all Bids, and to accept that quote or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
