Project Description: Merritt (MER) Chiller Replacement located at Nicola Valley Hospital & Health Centre in Merritt, BC, will include installing a new Chiller and ensuring its integration with the existing HVAC system. The existing Chiller was installed in 1999 and is operating beyond its recommended 20-year service life. The existing Chiller does not provide adequate cooling to the site during hot weather and requires frequent service. The current size of the Chiller is 125 tons. TIMELINE: Design is ongoing. Tender and construction timelines are undetermined. Further update in late summer 2026, upon approvals.
