Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Renton, Washington. Design plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The building requires significant upgrades and replacements to maintain functionality and efficiency. Many HVAC components, including the rooftop air-cooled chiller, air handler unit, exhaust fans, return fans, and pumps, have exceeded their service life and need replacement. The electrical infrastructure, including a 1200A switchboard, also needs updating. The single-ply membrane roofing above the main entryway and single-pane windows need replacement. Additionally, 2,000 square feet of walkway requires repair, and tenant improvements are necessary for the basement and second floors. As of March 4, 2026, this project is included in the city's 2025-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). It is part of the Department of Enterprise Services ESCO program. An energy service company has been selected. A timeline for construction has not been established. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
