Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board is seeking quotes from qualified contractors for the work involved in the completion of the greenspace site improvements at Central Hastings School. This project's Scope of Work includes final site grading of new field, irrigation system installation to new field which will include trenching for connection to water main at school, sub grade drainage for existing field, sod and seeding of new and existing field, asphalt track for new field, the procurement and installation of track and field and sports equipment site furnishings, planting of site vegetation, and site lighting at new field for path connecting Phase 1 parking lot and school. It is the respondent’s responsibility to arrive at the meeting space on time and schedule for unforeseen unknowns that may delay arrival to the meeting location. Once the meeting has begun, it is considered closed to any other respondents. Late arrivals will not be permitted to sign in. Attendance will be taken at the commencement of the meeting and only those in attendance for the full length of the meeting will be eligible to submit quotations. Quotations received from General Contractors not on the list of attendees at the site visit/pre-quotation meeting will not be considered. Sub-trade respondents are also encouraged to attend this meeting as an introduction to the scope of work required by General Contractors. There will be no meeting minutes taken at site meetings by HPEDSB.
