GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT: In general, the work on this project consists of the removal and replacement of approximately 8,800 L.F. of ACP Sanitary Sewer main with 8,350 L.F. of 8" SDR-35 P.V.C., 500 L.F. 10" SDR-35 P.V.C., and 15 LF of 12" SDR-35 P.V.C. pipe. Work shall include removal of 32 manholes and installation of 36 new manholes, installation of 225 new sanitary sewer laterals, dewatering, temporary by-pass pumping systems, cured-inplace sanitary sewer main lining, manhole rehabilitation, and all other work required for the removal, replacement and rehabilitation of the sanitary sewer main. Work shall take place in the Beach Haven West section of Stafford Township on Beach Haven West Boulevard, Jeteemale Drive, Lawrence Drive, Patty Lane, Morton Drive. Also included in the scope of the Base Bid a will be the replacement of drainage catch basins, installation of 8" D.I.P. Pipe, 12" D.I.P. Pipe, 15" D.I.P. Pipe, and 18" D.I.P. drainage pipe and milling and repaving of the above-mentioned roadways from edge of pavement to edge of pavement. Bidder shall submit with their bid an electronic bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00, payable unconditionally to the Township of Stafford, along with a Surety Certificate (Consent of Surety) with Power of Attorney for the full amount of the bid price from a Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and said Surety will furnish a consolidated Performance and Payment Bond in amounts of 100% of the successful Bidder's contract. If the Bidder is to submit a certified check or cashier's check, an image of the check must be included with the electronic bid document submission. The following waivers apply to this project: BABAA De Minimis, Small Grants, and Minor Components.
