Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Grafton, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
As of June 5, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Quarry Township is seeking bids to concrete an existing gravel parking lot on the east side of the Township Hall: 1. Construct concrete entrance 16' x 53' x 6" thick (848 sq. ft.) with 6-bag mix. 2. Construct concrete parking lot 100' x 145' x 6" thick (14,500 sq. ft.) with 6-bag mix. 3. Install #4 rebar mat, spaced on 2' centers, in pavement of both entrance and parking lot. 4. Compact and install 4" aggregate base (grade CA6) as needed. Existing clean gravel can be reused for base. 5. Pad preparation includes dirt and gravel removal; setting forms; installing rebar; pouring concrete; broom finishing; and back filling edges of new concrete. Rebar must be tied to existing concrete sidewalk. Saw cut expansion control joints in new concrete. Sealed bid proposals are hereby solicited for a new concrete parking lot at the Quarry Township Town Hall, 1251 Grafton Hills Drive, Grafton, IL 62037. Bid is for 15,350 sq. ft. of concrete pavement. This project is a public works project and is subject to the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130).
