Site work and new construction of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Completed plans call for the construction of a 175-bed elderly care / assisted living facility; and for site work for a elderly care / assisted living facility.

The intent of this RFP is to solicit Proposals from qualified Proponents to make up to Develop and operate new Facilities that will supply up to one hundred and seventy-five (175) new LTC Beds within the geographic distribution set forth in this RFP. Proponents should specifically note that "up to" one hundred and seventy-five (175) new LTC Beds notes a maximum of one hundred and seventy-five (175) new LTC Beds may be awarded pursuant to this RFP, but HPEI may ultimately award fewer than one hundred and seventy-five (175) new LTC Beds pursuant to this RFP, or no LTC Beds at all, in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in this RFP. The Successful Proponent(s) will be required and responsible for all aspects of Development including, without limitation, financing, designing, constructing, licensing, operating, supplying the LTC Beds, and maintaining its proposed Facility in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements set out in this RFP, the Agreements, and Applicable Laws. All Proposals will be evaluated in accordance with the evaluation process set forth in this RFP regardless of the method proposed for Developing the Facility to provide the LTC Beds. Successful Proponent(s) will be responsible for all aspects of Developing the Facility as are required to provide the LTC Beds, and shall be further responsible for obtaining all permits, approvals, licensing, and inspections necessary to construct the proposed Facility.
