This project involves the construction of approximately 3,950 LF of new 4-inch force main, 230 LF of new 8-inch gravity main, a new 6-foot diameter wet well, and lift station with two (2) submersible pumps, a new 35 kW generator and electrical appurtenances. A new doghouse manhole will be constructed at the existing 8-inch gravity main. To establish the connection to Village of Allegany sanitary sewer collection system, approximately 125 LF of 8" gravity main will be lined with 8" CIPP. Only written Requests For Information (RFI) will be accepted. RFI's will be accepted until 12:00 p.m. (Local Time) on May 12, 2025, at the office of the Engineer to the attention of Casey DeGraff via email: CDeGraff@CPLteam.com. If necessary, an Addendum will be issued by 5:00 p.m. (Local Time) on May 14th, 2025, from the office of the Engineer. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified bank check or bid bond from a domestic carrier licensed to do business in the State of New York in the amount of not less than five (5%) of the amount of the bid submitted. Security for Faithful Performance: The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds written by firms licensed to do business in New York State, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amounts in accordance with the provisions of the Contract Documents. The Town of Allegany reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities therein.
