This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by the Cowichan Valley Regional District (the "CVRD") to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Abandoned Household Hazardous Waste - Containment, Transportation & Disposal Services, The CVRD is seeking an experienced and qualified proponent to provide services to safely store, properly collect, package, transport and dispose of abandoned Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) generated within the Cowichan Valley Region. The objective is to dispose HHW material in an environmental, economic, socially beneficial and responsible manner. The CVRD is not implementing a publicly available collection program; the HHW managed in this RFP have been abandoned or found in the garbage and recycling at the Recycling Centres.
