Pavement Reinforcement System, 90 S.Y. Concrete Sidewalk, Reinforced, 6" Thick, 6 S.Y. Detectable Warning Surface, 110 L.F. 9"x20" Concrete Vertical Curb, 140 L.F. Granite Curb, 332L.F. Beam Guide Rail, 2 Unit Tangent Beam Guide Rail Terminal, Reconstructed & Reset Inlets, Warning & Regulatory Signs, 48Unit Tree Removal (various sizes up and over 36" diameter), 16 Unit Large Deciduous Tree, Seedling 18-24" High, Bare Root,32 Unit Evergreen Tree, Seedling 18-24" High, Bare Root in addition to other miscellaneous items. The County of Morris shall not be responsible for full or partial sets of Contract Documents, including addenda, obtained from any other source. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder, and the Bid number and title spelled out on the outermost packaging, addressed to the Purchasing Agent of the County of Morris. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) (not to exceed $20,000.00) of the total bid, payable to the County of Morris, as a guarantee that if the contract is awarded to the Bidder, they will enter into a contract and provide the necessary bonds and insurance as required by the County and the Division of Risk Management. No bids shall be accepted after the designated time, and Morris County will not assume responsibility for bids forwarded by mail or delivery service, nor any other conveyance. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A.10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C.17:27-1 et seq. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond, Payment Bond and Maintenance Bond as specified in the Contract Documents. EACH BID MUST BE ACCOMPANIED WITH A CONSENT OF SURETY which states that the surety company will provide the Bidder with the performance bond specified in the Contract Documents in the event the Bidder is awarded the Contract. Bids are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20. 7, and as such, contractors are exempt from the limitations on making political contributions under that law. Further, for that reason, as well as because of a language in the New Jersey's Annual Appropriations Act, refusal to disclose campaign contributions otherwise required by N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.2 et seq. and N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.25 et seq., will not adversely affect Bidder's consideration for award. The Contractor shall maintain all documentation related to products, transactions, or services under this contract for a period of five years from the date of final payment, per N.J.A.C. 17:44-2.2. Such records shall be made available to the New Jersey Office of the State Comptroller upon request.
