Furnishing all necessary materials, machinery, equipment, superintendence, and performing all work required for furnishing all materials, labor, supervision, tools, equipment, and all incidentals required for the construction of the Water Supply Well project. The project consists of, but not limited to, drilling, construction, development, and testing of a 55-gpm municipal water well, approximately 550 feet in depth, 6-inch diameter black steel surface casing, 6-inch diameter stainless steel piping, gravel filter pack well screen, submersible pump & motor, piping, valves, and well head sealing slab, as shown on the drawings, along with necessary appurtenances. Contractor will maintain existing silt fencing throughout the project duration. The Contractor shall coordinate installation of new well with the District such as to keep the site secure at all times. The Contractor shall contact DigTess and have underground utilities located prior to drilling operations. Well Drilling and operations shall be bid by the vertical and linear foot and unit installation., etc., as stipulated in the bid schedule, plans and technical specifications A bid shall be comprised of the bid documents completed by the bidder plus supplemental information required by the specifications and documents such as 5% bid bond, payment and performance bonds executed in penal sum of no less than 100% of contract price, or deemed necessary by the bidder to fully describe the offering. Please Note: This contract is contingent upon release of funds from the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB). Any contract or contracts awarded under this Invitation for Bid (IFB) are expected to be funded in part by a loan from the TWDB. Neither the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) State of Texas, nor any of its departments, agencies, or employees, are or will be a party to this IFB, RFP, RFQ, or any resulting contract.
